Healing Old Sexual Energy

Lord BUDDHA, obscured by ignorance during this lifetime and lifetime before, as a society we have not been able to see that the energy of sexual desire, if it is not recognized and properly managed, will destroy the family, the society, and the body and mind of the individual. In our ignorance we have not been able to protect our bodies and minds from unhealthy sex, because we have not created a wholesome cultural and social environment. Without intention, we have acted in opposition to the Third Mindfulness Training concerning sexual misconduct. We have sexually abuse children, including our own children. (In the Third Mindfulness Training, we make the determination not to commit sexual misconduct and to do everything in our power to prevent children from being sexually abused and to keep couples and families form being broken by sexual misconduct. Ending the great suffering due to sexual misconduct is not only a matter of our personal behavior, but of a collective awakening. This meditation is written in this spirit.) We have brought about division and suffering which has lasted from one generation to another.
Today, I have woken up to my mistakes and express my deep regret. I vow to learn and to practice the Dharma doors the Lord Buddha has shown us, to master my body and mind, and to make my environment a healthy one. I shall practice using the energy of my body and mind to develop my understanding and compassion. With understanding and compassion, I shall liberate beings from their suffering and help the world. I know that if bodhicitta, the mind of love, is in me, and my deep aspiration to liberate beings from their suffering is strong, nearly all my energy will go in that direction. When the energy of compassion is strong in me, the sexual energy in me will not have the strength to bring about destruction for myself and for people around me.

Chuyển Hóa Năng Lượng Ái Dục

Khải Bạch
Bạch đức Thế Tôn, từ bao nhiêu đời bao nhiêu kiếp, chúng con đã vì vô minh che lấp tâm trí mà không thấy được rằng năng lượng ái dục nếu không được nhận diện và bảo hộ có thể gây ra tàn hại trong thân tâm, trong gia đình và xã hội chúng con. Vì vô minh, vì không biết phép thực tập bảo hộ thân tâm, vì không tạo được môi trường văn hóa và xã hội lành mạnh, chúng con đã phạm giới tà dâm, đã hiếp đáp, đã lạm dụng trẻ em và ngay con cháu của chúng con trong vấn đề tình dục, đã gây đổ vỡ và khổ đau kéo dài từ thế hệ này sang thế hệ khác.

Chúng con hôm nay đã giác ngộ lỗi lầm, nguyền xin sám hối, nguyền học hỏi và thực tập những pháp môn mà đức Thế Tôn đã chỉ dạy để nhiếp phục thân tâm, làm cho hoàn cảnh trở nên lành mạnh, đưa năng lượng thân tâm đi về hướng mở mang trí tuệ và từ bi, sử dụng năng lượng ấy để làm việc độ sinh giúp đời. Chúng con biết rằng nếu tâm bồ đề và chí nguyện độ sinh của chúng con lớn mạnh thì hầu hết năng lượng của chúng con sẽ được dồn về hướng ấy, và năng lượng tình dục của chúng con không còn đủ sức mạnh để gây tác hại trong chúng con và trong hoàn cảnh sinh hoạt của chúng con.
